DTS mushroom washers combine our knowledge of fresh mushroom processing and our expertise in building high-precision augers. A thorough but gentle washing effect is created by a jacuzzi washing technique, This uses a combination of water sprayers from the top and air injection in the bottom of the washer, fully controllable via manual valves. The water that is circulated is continuously filtered over a static screen.
Following a dewatering screen, mushrooms are further dewatered on a special open blue polyurethane belt equipped with an air knife system to blow off surface water.
